Another deal on prints from Adorama…
AdoramaPix has 8×10 prints only 99 cents each. I am not affiliated with them at all, perhaps I should be. The paper is Kodak’s Royal Glossy. This deal isn’t as rad as their metallic prints deal last month.
4X6″ $.09
5X7″ $.27
8X10″ $.99
11X14″ $1.99
A funny thing happened….
Thursday night was a shoot with Shannon.
Shannon is a waitress and stand up comedian.
JPG still hanging by a line…
Looks like JPG magazine may be bought out and will keep on ticking.
That’s great news for them! They sent out this email:
“We couldn’t ask for a better community. In the week or so since our last
email*, the outpour of support has exceeded our wildest expectations. Your
efforts, such as starting savejpg.com, writing blog posts, commenting on
Twitter [...]
Go Diego Go….
San Diego that is… Nothing like visiting sunny San Diego in the chilly winter. But hot dang, they have clean water compared to L.A. beaches….
Some seals chilling in La Jolla.
Yawning like there’s no tomorrow.
Del Mar is pretty rad as well.
A little rusted out.
Another mag goes belly up…
I received an email today from JPG Magazine. Here’s some of the email
-start-
We’ve spent the last few months trying to make the business behind JPG
sustain itself, and we’ve reached the end of the line. We all deeply believe
in everything JPG represents, but we just weren’t able to raise the money
needed to keep JPG alive [...]
Expiring dealio on prints…
Adorama has a deal on Metallic prints.
Check it out, their deal ends Dec 31st, such short notice….
Adorama Pix
Update: As of 1/2/09, it’s still showing the sale pricing.
Something new….
It’s fun to learn new things, this time it’s adding grunge to pictures via photoshop cs3. This is an American bunker on Bora Bora from World War II.
Grunge look.
Before shot.
I’ve added the how-to link under retoucher.
Happy Festivus!!!
Bust out the pole and celebrate!!!

Mugshots…
Here’s an example of shooting with a WhiBal grey card for setting the white balance in post production. This mug is of Celeste.
I always shoot in RAW but that’s just my preference. I use Bibble and Photoshop CS3 for my workflow.
Remember the lady in red…
One last appearance….an encore if you will.
Thanks Celeste.
